Ninfaazuma is elected PM for Jirapa Municipal Assembly
Mr. Benedict Ninfaazuma, the Assemblyman of Piiyiri Electoral Area has been elected and confirmed the Presiding Member for Jirapa Municipal Assembly.

He polled 24 out of 53 in the first round, and his two competitors Mr. James Dery and Mr. Cornelius Nobapuo got 20 and 9 votes respectively.
In the second round of voting, Mr. Benedict Ninfaazuma polled 46 YES and 7 NO, which therefore is more than the two-third majority required for confirmation of nominee.
The newly elected PM for Jirapa, Mr, Ninfaazuma takes over form Ebenezer Ayemah who served for two terms.
