Ghana 2021 Population and Housing Census (Central Region)
Located in the south-western center of Ghana, the Central Region now has 22 administrative districts and shares common boundaries with Western and Western North Regions on the west, Ashanti Region on the north, Eastern Region on the north-east, and Greater Accra Region on the east. On the south is the 168-kilometre length Atlantic Ocean (Gulf of Guinea) coastline.

The Region has a population of 2,859,821 in 2021 of Ghana's total population. With a total male population standing at 1,390,987 and a total female population of 1,468,834. The Region has a total Household of 838,493 which refers to a person or a group of two or more persons (related or unrelated) who live together, share housekeeping arrangements (eating and sleeping), and recognize one person as the head.
