Subject:NKWANTA SOUTH DISTRICT ROAD

Comment:Evans Ntsor,USA. Am a citizen of Nkwanta and that of Mother Ghana.my concern now is about the road from pepesu to damanko when is the road construstion beginning.I have had alot about the road construstion since Rawlings regime and back to Mill regime.

Besides are we or is Nkwanta not part of Ghana.most of the food items from the rural areas passes through this district and besides farming is the main occupation and beleive there is alot of funds generated from the market centers of the district precisely Kpassa,Kabiti,Bonakye,Kecheibi,Njari,Koi,Brewaniase,Nkwanta as the district capital and alot to mention.

To be honest and fair with all the politicians dont be discriminated.

Subject:A Good Start, But .......

Comment: It is reassuring to read that a policy is being developed to encourage the use of local materials in construction. I believe the people living in the Akwapim mountains are well aware of the qualities and longevity of stone buildings. May I remind all those involved in the policy development not to waste resources reinventing the wheel because a great deal of research has already been undertaken by KNUST and BRRI. Dr Atiemo and co over to you.

The government must also show leadership in this and ensure that a healthy quota of housing projects funded with public money uses local construction materials, not forgetting about solar energy.
