Minister and DCE visit YouStart trainees in Sene West

The Bono East Regional Minister, Kwasi Adu- Gyan together with the District Chief Executive of the Sene West District, John Nyaaba, paid a visit to trainees undergoing training under the YouStart program being implemented by the government through the Ghana Enterprise Agency.

The Minister in his presentation stated that, YouStart is a Government of Ghana flagship program designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and resources needed to empower them to unleash their potential and become iconic entrepreneurs.

The government seeks to provide technical and financial support to Ghanaians who aspire to create their own jobs.

As part of measures to combat unemployment, the Government of Ghana through the Ghana Enterprise Agency is providing the training and the resources needed to create an entrepreneurial nation.

Applicants who qualified are undergoing this training at various districts across the country. Some of these trainees include artisans such as hairdressers, fashion designers, etc.

In his speech, he urged the facilitators, director’s trainees and the rest of the team to play their best roles to ensure the success of this exercise.‘’This and many more will take place in the Bono East region as the government pursues the dream of making Ghana an entrepreneurial hub.’’ he stated.
