Kwaebibirem United Football Club receives support
Ghana Oil Palm Development Company has presented a cheque for Ten thousand Ghana Cedis (?10,000) to Asuom based Kwaebibirem United Football Club ahead of the 2023 Eastern Region Division 2 Middle League.

Making the presentation, Mr Andoh Andrew Enyam, Community Development Officer of GOPDC said, this is to support and motivate Kwaebibirem United FC to fight to secure a positive result in the 2023 Eastern Region Division 2 Middle League to secure qualification to National Division one and by this, the company and the club will work hand-in-hand in a mutual benefits of both parties.

Cyril Nana Amponsah Jnr, the CEO of Kwaebibirem United FC thanked the Managing Director and management of GOPDC for this donation and asked the fans of the club to patronize the products of the company.

It must be recalled that during the period of the defunct Kwaebibirem United F/C playing in the Premier League, GOPDC was supporting the team with a meagre sponsorship package.The company employs over 5,000 workers at the Kwaebibirem municipality of the Eastern region of Ghana.

GOPDC supports the communities it operates in, not only through the results from its business operations, but through investment in education, health and the environment which are essential factors in social development with the aim of improving the living standards for the majority of the people.
