NJNMA donates to Muslim community

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North, Dr. Edward Asante Antwi has presented rice (34) bags, sunny Oil (13) boxes and mackerel papa nono (12) boxes to the Muslim community in the Municipality on Monday, 1 st April, 2024, at Effiduase to commemorate the celebration of the Eid-Fitr.

The MCE presenting the items said the donation formed part of the Assembly’s social responsibility towards the Muslim Community, as support extended to them during their fasting and Eid celebrations.

He wished them a happy Eid-fitr and thanked them for using the period to intercede on behalf of all and continuously ask for Allah’s blessings and protection for the nation Ghana, during and after the upcoming presidential elections.

The Chief Imam for New Juaben North Islamic Community, Mr.Salisu Laminu, on behalf of the entire Muslim community expressed his appreciation to the MCE and the Assembly, saying that they would continue to pray for the Assembly and are willing to support the Assembly in any way possible.

Present were the Municipal finance Officer (MFO), Mr.Alhaji Muntala AIhassan, New Juaben North NPP parliamentary candidate, on. Nana Osei Agyei, New Juaben North NPP Constituency Chairman, on. Ernest Oti AKenteng and Municipal NADMO Director Mr. Albert Danso.
