North Dayi assembly distributes three thousand stoves

The North Dayi District Assembly as part of the government’s planned efforts to reduce pollution that emanate from the various households, have distributed three thousand cooking stoves to it citizen to facilitate the climate change program.

This is a pilot program that seeks to distribute five hundred thousand cooking stoves across the country and it is to prevent the usage of firewood in cooking which later causes damage to the climate.

The ongoing distribution also seeks to encourage more households to use the charcoal stove which is better than the firewood which preserves the climate.
