Environmental Health Department intensifies move to improve hygiene
In effort to bring people to appreciate the need to uphold environmental cleanliness, the Environmental Health Department engaged a number of institutions in the district.

The department believes this will help improving sanitation across the district.
Among the institutions that benefited are hospitals, schools, churches; inspection of water sources in town.
Inspections were also carried out at food vending joints, like chop bars, inspection of hygiene at meat shops, house to house inspection in town, collection and disposal of solid waste, supervision and screening of food venders and pure water producers among others.
