MCE Donates 500 School Desk to Needy Basic Schools within the District.

The District Chief Executive, Mr. Musah Mohammed Tindawu donated 500 school furniture’s to needy basic schools within the District. The gesture was part of efforts to improve teaching and learning activities in schools.

The District Chief Executive indicated during the donation that, he was committed in improving Education in the district, to complement Government’s pledge of ensuring access to quality education.

He added that, though the District is young and deprived in most sectors but with determination and sacrifices, success shall be achieved.

He therefore pledged to provide the necessary resources for schools within the North East Gonja District to improve on the quality of education.

The representative of the District Education Director received the furnitures and thanked the District Chief Executive for the kind gesture but like Oliver twist, requested for more since there was more need. He however assured the District Chief Executive of a fair distribution and good maintenance.
