DCE joins in clean up exercise at Dompoase

The people of Dompoase, a community in the Adansi North District have embarked on a clean-up exercise to mark the end of activities lined up to enstool Okofo Kwabena Bonsu as chief of the town.

The District Chief Executive for Adansi North District, Kusi Kwaku Eric who together with the staff of the District Assembly joined the clean-up exercise, entreated Nananom to organize such activity regularly as he admits a clean community is a healthy one and promised to support Nananom and the community anytime he is called upon.

Okofo Kwabena Bonsu urged his subjects to always rally behind him and show up in their numbers whenever he calls on them and thanked them for their support during his enstolment.

Some community members who took part in the clean-up exercise expressed their joy saying that, the exercise has helped to clear chocked gutters and bushy areas within the town and are pleased with the environment as it is now and pledged their continual loyalty towards Nananom.

The District Environmental Health Director, Mr Justice Ban-Ira who was highly impressed with the outcome of the exercise said that, clean up exercises will be held quarterly in the various zonal councils to keep the District clean.
