1-storey 6-unit block for Wesley Methodist Primary nears completion

The Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly is made some inroads in the educational sector in the municipality.

On infrastructure development, the construction of a one-story 6-unit classroom block for the Wesley Methodist Primary and KG School is fast progressing as the project nears completion.

This project is according to the Municipal Chief Executive has become necessary to ensure conducive teaching and learning environment.

The MCE said the Assembly was compelled to find a temporal space for the pupils before going ahead to collapse the existing structure and build a new one for the school.

The new structure comes with some auxiliary facilities including the headmaster’s office, teachers’ common room as well as sanitary facilities.

Meanwhile, the Assembly has also completed two 3-unit classroom blocks at larbikrom, and memponso; both of which are hard to reach areas in the municipality.

Another 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facility is near completion at Abodom M/A School, the MCE has stated.

The Assembly has also invested in improving the furniture for the schools by procuring and distributing over six hundred mono and dual desks to the schools.
