Assembly hands over 2-unit Kg block to Education Directorate
Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben South, along with the Education Directorate of New Juaben South, have officially handed over a state-of-the-art two 2-unit Kindergarten (K.G.) Block to both Nana Kwaku Boateng School "A" and Trinity Presby Model School in the Municipality.

During the ceremony, the Head teachers of the respective schools warmly welcomed everyone present and expressed their deep gratitude to the MCE and the entire Education Directorate for responding to their request for the construction of KG Blocks. They acknowledged the significance of these modern facilities in enhancing the educational services provided by the schools.

In his opening speech, the MCE expressed his satisfaction in turning this dream into a reality. He emphasized that the newly built school blocks would not only benefit the pupils in New Juaben South Municipality but also contribute to improving their academic performance.

The MCE highlighted the commitment of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in prioritizing education throughout his tenure, particularly through initiatives such as the Free SHS policy. He emphasized the importance of having well-prepared students and future leaders, which is why establishing a KG block is crucial in their educational journey.

Furthermore, the MCE advised the Head teachers to prioritize maintenance to ensure the schools always maintain a fresh and appealing appearance. He assured everyone that he would continue to work towards providing additional necessary facilities to raise the standards of the schools and create a conducive learning environment for the children.

In a symbolic gesture, the MCE, accompanied by other stakeholders, unveiled a plaque and handed over the keys to the separate KG blocks to the Educational Directorate and the Head teachers of the respective schools.

Dignitaries in attendance included the MCE of NJSMA, Hon. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Edward Abazing, the Deputy Director in charge of Education Monitoring and Supervision, Joana Abankwa, the Headmistress for the two schools, Madam Vivian Obuobisa-Darko and Madam Mary Agyekum, the Deputy Regional Manager of Schools, Rev. Isaac Gyamfi Amoah, the Municipal Education Directorate PRO, Madam Matilda Botchway, and Heads of Department from the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly.
