“I am working diligently to complete abandoned projects started by my predecessor- Dormaa West DCE

The District Chief Executive of Dormaa West District, Mr. Francis Oppong , stated that he has not committed any administrative crime or error to warrant the current demand made by some self-seeking residents in the area to the president to relieve him from his post.

He said that his track records and achievements in provision of many social amenities in the areas of safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health, education, roads, security, sports, social welfare services among others so far after two years of his assumption of office showed that he has performed satisfactorily in his roles.

Speaking on phone with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Oppong said, he has worked tremendously to provide support to the teeming farmers in the districts, having realized that 80% of the people in the districts are predominantly farmers

“My outfit has provided numerous support to the farmers in my areas of jurisdiction by way of giving them coconut and cocoa seedlings, fertilizers, farming equipment to boost their farming activities in the districts,” he disclosed.

According to him, he came to meet numerous abandoned projects since he assumed office per the rest of the social intervention projects and he is making a lot of efforts to complete the works which his predecessor left behind.
