New District Police Headquarters in the offing
A new and permanent office structure is to be provided for the Ghana Police Service in the Birim South District to serve as district headquarters.

This is to help move the service from its rented premises and offer more space to enable the service to operate better in a more conducive environment.
Interacting with Ghanadistricts.com, District Chief Executive, Kwame Asare Danso revealed that the process to construct the new office has begun with land already acquired.
What is left according to him is the commencement of the actual construction works, and this the Assembly is working around the clock in collaboration with the office of the Member of Parliament for the area, Kennedy Osei Nyarko to achieve it.
