Ten more mechanized boreholes for various communities

Efforts at improving access to potable water in various communities in the Kwaebibirem Municipality are yielding positive results as more communities have recently been provided with mechanized boreholes.

Ten 10 mechanized boreholes have recently been drilled at various communities including Nkwantanan, subi, senya, Atobrisu, Dompem, Labikrom, Mintabome Koka, James Town among others.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Seth Antwi Boasiako who was obviously happy about the success in this regard said it would have been even a bigger joy if all the communities in the municipality could boast of access to potable water; but assured that they will continue their efforts at reaching all the communities.

He said the Assembly is exploring all opportunities for fund or other interventions to be able to deliver water to communities that need it.

The MCE hinted that they have been very strategic in locating these boreholes especially in communities with CHPS centres close to the facility just so it would be easily accessible to the health facilities as well
