Tolon Fire Station commissioned as a fire post
The Northern Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service, in collaboration with the Tolon District Assembly in the Northern Region, has officially opened the Tolon Fire Station as a Fire Post.

This was made possible through the tireless efforts of the current Regional Fire Commander, ACFO I James Ankrah and his predecessors, as well as the Assembly, to address the need for a Fire Station in the District.
The Regional Commander in an address at the event assured the Tolon Station of a Fire Engine soon to aid their operations
He charged the personnel to remain disciplined, be hard working, and not lose sight of our core mandate.
He also entreated them to embark on rigorous safety education in the district even as they await an operational fire engine.
