MP, MCE commission four projects at Kwabre East
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwabre East and the Member of Parliament for the area Miss. Francisca Oteng Mensah has commissioned four different projects in the municipality.

The projects include a teacher's bungalow at Amape, a doctor's bungalow and water project at Asonomaso and a bungalow at Mamponteng to accommodate the staff in the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly.

The MCE speaking at the ceremony to commission the four projects commended the current government on the free Senior High Education policy and how helpful it has been to the Assembly and the good people of Kwabre East.

He also touched on the massive infrastructural development in the six senior high schools in the Municipality with the notion of getting rid of the double track system.


The Member of Parliament hinted on the upgrading of the Municipal hospital adding that a petition has been sent and looking forward to a positive response.

She further enlightened the gathering on the massive achievements under the health service citing examples like resourcing of the Mamponteng polyclinic and construction of a female ward at Aboaso hospital.


The Municipal director of education expressed her profound gratitude to the MP and the MCE for their continuous support to the Municipality in terms of education and assured her total commitment to seeing the school attaining a higher height.

Oheneyere Fremah, the leader of the traditional council also thanked the government for the projects and advised the people to practice good maintenance culture.
